IKONS Magazine is a bold, in-depth, full-color quarterly online publication dedicated to the Black & Latino lbbt (lesbian, bi-sexual, bi-curious transgender) community, lifestyle and culture. Each issue will provide our readers with vibrant illustrations capturing the lifestyle, music, culture and fashion as well as powerful articles and features surrounding major issues experienced by lesbians worldwide. Through real-life experiences from women within the community we hope this magazine will inspire, educate, and enlighten it’s readers. At Team IKONS Inc. we believe everyone has the ability to be an icon (IKON) in their own way, in their own community. Our teachers, politicians, lawyers, businesswomen and entrepreneurs are all iconic figures to those they service. An icon does not have to be a well-known public figure. We applaud those women who can overcome the huddles and obstacles and still find the strength to continue success and positivity throughout life. The Black and Latino urban lesbian community has been widely ignored for some time, however we are equally talented and dedicated, yet there is a lack of our presence in the media. With projects such as IKONS, we felt the need to step up to the plate to bring the world a voice that has been mute until now. Enjoy IKONS!!!!
